Despatch Preparatory learners were recently invited to sing the National Anthem at the ICC Women’s World Cup. Students were personally invited by the EP Cricket Union who spoilt the learners with supporters’ outfits and snack packs in return for singing.
Mr Danie Olivier, cricket coach at Despatch Preparatory School said he was extremely impressed with the coordinators arrangements and his learner’s behaviour, he was also proud to be part of the event. “Our learners don’t always have the opportunity to see events of this calibre and this will be a lifelong memory for our children!” said Mrs Sachse, Principal at Despatch Preparatory School. We are very grateful for being invited to this event and hope that we can be involved in future occasions of this nature.
